Before sending your delivery 

A recorded delivery letter is the best option for sending important documents or ones that include personal details.

  • Maximum security: we know your deliveries are important, which is why we’ve designed an identification system based on unique bar codes for each recorded delivery letter.
  • Guaranteed: the recipient must sign before receiving the item upon delivery. If we cannot deliver the item, we will leave a notice in their mailbox so they can collect it from their nearest Post Office within 15 days.
  • Peace of mind: you can track your order for free using our delivery tracker.
  •  Adapted to your needs: recorded delivery is available for national and international deliveries both online and from our branches.

You choose your perfect packaging. We offer the following measurements:

Maximum:

  • Envelope or box: Length + Height + Width = 90 cm, with no measurement being more than 60 cm.
  • Roll or tube: Length + twice the diameter = 104 cm, with no measurement exceeding 90 cm.

Minimum:

  • Envelope or box: 14 x 9 cm.
  • Roll or tube: Length + twice the diameter = 17 cm, with no measurement being less than 10 cm.

If you want to send something smaller, don't worry, you just have to add a 10 x 7 cm label with the address and postage.

Important! Remember that no recorded delivery letter can weigh more than 2 Kg.

Your delivery is almost ready. All you need to do now is tell us where you want it to go:

  • It’s important for your details and those of the recipient to be clearly visible on the packaging.
  • For national deliveries, the word “CERTIFICADO” will appear on the label, which should be located in the upper-left corner on the front of your delivery.
  • For international deliveries, the words “RECOMMANDÉ / CERTIFICADO” and “PRIORITARIO / PRIORITY” will appear on the label, which should be located on the same side. You can print this label and complete payment right here.

During your delivery

Name your delivery from “Mi Oficina.

From Mi Oficina, you can manage the delivery of all your parcels, letters or documents. We make it easy for you and explain every detail you need to consider before each delivery.

To get started, you can name your delivery to make it easier to remember and view from the “Mi Cuenta” section. Very important! Remember that you need to enter all the required data to continue through the process. After naming your delivery, you need to tell us the province where you will give us the item.

Next you will need to provide information about the recipient and the characteristics of your delivery. You can start entering data from scratch, by importing a document with defined recipients or by choosing a recipient from previous deliveries. The pre-defined recipients are regular contacts that you can save on the platform. Our goal with Mi Oficina is to make managing your deliveries easier and faster.  Any questions? We keep your recipients constantly informed about your deliveries! To do that, you need to provide us with their email address or telephone number. You will also need to tell us about the contents of the delivery, whether or not it is classified as goods, whether it includes an invoice, certificates or licences, its value and what you want us to do with it if delivery is impossible.

You can choose total coverage for your deliveries. To do so, you can request the following additional services to guarantee and complement your delivery:

  • Declared value: Applicable to each shipment and calculated as a percentage of the value of the goods.
  • CODs: Receive payment for your deliveries in a safe, simple, reliable way. We will reimburse you the amount paid by the recipient, which appears on the item.
  • Confirmation of receipt: we will confirm delivery in writing so that there is a record of when and who received your parcel.
  • Prueba de Entrega Electrónica (PEE): a digital receipt of recorded delivery.

After providing all the characteristics of your delivery, you can export all this information to a file or your email for use in future deliveries, making the process even more convenient. Remember to select the recipient in the list of deliveries.

A final summary will be produced when you complete the process so that you can check all the details you provided, such as the details of the recipient, or check the total price of your deliveries. At this point, you can also change the details of the sender and apply them to one specific parcel or a complete set of deliveries. Finally, you can see the costs associated with each delivery and the additional services you may have chosen.

You will then need to accept the commercial terms and conditions governing the data you provided to complete the process.

Attention! Although unusual for this type of services, you will sometimes find promotional offer codes to reduce the cost of your delivery. You must enter any codes you have before paying.

All the payment methods you will see below are common to all users:

  • Payment by credit/debit card. If you select this option, we will redirect you to the secure checkout process with the corresponding bank.
  • Payment via PayPal. You can pay using any of the methods associated with PayPal quickly and securely.

If you already have a Correos account and are a customer with a contract, you can add the payment to a contract so that we can bill the delivery under the terms and conditions of that contract.

When choosing to pay by card or PayPal, you will be able to request an invoice during the payment process.

After completing the payment process, you will be taken to a final step for confirming the delivery reference details, the tracking number and the recipients to whom it will be sent. You can choose from three options for receiving that information

  • Print a summary of your purchase.
  • Give us your email address to receive the information in your inbox, or we can send it to somebody else if you prefer.
  • Receive a text file including all the details of your purchase.
